About The Project

Particularly Vulnerable tribal groups (PVTG) RESIDENTIAL BOYS PRIMARY SCHOOL, CHAINPUR, GUMLA This school is supported by welfare department Govt. of Jharkhand. There are 8 (PVTG) Primitive tribal Groups in Jharkhand. They are living as isolated communities with limit.

Activities:

PVTG School is an initiative to provide education facilities to primitive tribes. The project provides education for drop out as well as those who have never been to school intimate is anticipated that this intervention will also lead to demand for good quality education from government schools. One such PVTG school has been established by Manthan yuva sansthan at Maheshpur village of chainpur block of Gumla district with the support of welfare department, GOJ this may be mentioned that in this area Asur, birhor, birijia tribe is living in surrounding area, so it is obvious that children of all PVTG got admitted in Manthan PVTG School. The school is running from 2008 and has been able to provide educational facility to 100 male Children from class 1 to 5 are being conducted the school is fully residential where Children are able to learn and play in formal education system, so that the children of Above mentioned tribe can be able to come in main stream.

The main objective of this project is :

  • To provide quality education to the most marginalized groups of society.
  • To offer education for drop outs and to those who have never been to school to.
  • Reintegrate into the formal education system. To provide a safe, secured conducive environment to learning.

Extracurricular activities:

Apart from daily classes, some extracurricular activities, sports are promoted for their mental & physical growth and washing day 11th Oct, was celebrated in the school campus in order to enhance hygienic practices among the children.

Outcomes:

  • Children are becoming more active & show interest other activities.
  • They are learning their lessons with keen interest.
  • Easy learning process provided to them during the classes.
  • The students' propagate about the importance of education among their community.
