Digital Education
LEAP To Shine
About The Project
Manthan Yuva Sansthan, in collaboration with Leap to Shine, is implementing the Digital Education Project in Ranchi district. This initiative is rooted in the belief that quality education with digital access is essential for bridging the educational divide, especially in rural and tribal regions. The project focuses on enhancing digital literacy among marginalized students, especially those from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC), by integrating technology with traditional learning methods.
The main objective of this project is :
The primary goal of the Digital Education Project is to empower underprivileged children through digital learning tools to improve the quality of education and enable equal opportunities for all. The project emphasizes inclusion, digital empowerment, and capacity building for both students and teachers.
Key objectives include:
- Access to Digital Tools: Distribution of 40 tablets and 40 smart devices (HeadPhone) to students from marginalized backgrounds (SC, ST, OBC) to reduce the digital divide and facilitate self-paced learning.
- Smart Classrooms Setup: Establishment of smart classes in rural schools to make learning interactive, engaging, and technology-driven. These classes introduce children to audio-visual aids and digital content, improving comprehension and interest in studies.
- Capacity Building: Training sessions for teachers and students to help them effectively use digital tools and platforms for learning and teaching. This ensures sustainability and long-term adoption of digital education.

By promoting digital inclusion, the project seeks to equip children with 21st-century skills, foster their confidence in technology, and ensure they are not left behind in the evolving educational ecosystem. It is a step towards creating digitally literate, future-ready rural communities.
