Jiv Daya Foundation

Jiv Daya Foundation, in collaboration with Manthan Yuva Sansthan, is dedicated to addressing the critical needs of marginalized communities in the Kisko Block, Lohardaga. These initiatives focus on improving the nutritional status of children and ensuring food security for backward-class families. The Foundation’s commitment to holistic development is realized through the implementation of the Milk Project and the Rahat Project, both of which are designed to bring immediate relief and long-term sustainability to rural populations.

Milk Distribution Project

The Milk Project is designed to combat malnutrition among children in rural and backward communities of the Kisko Block (Nini Village, Kasiyadih Village, Salaiya Village, Kharia Village, and Uldag Village). In areas where access to nutritious food is limited, children often suffer from developmental issues related to poor diet. The Milk Project provides these children with daily servings of milk and biscuits, ensuring they receive essential nutrients that contribute to their growth and well-being.

The Rahat Project is a food security initiative aimed at supporting economically vulnerable families in the Kisko Block (Nini Village, Kasiyadih Village, and Salaiya Village). Many families in this region, particularly those with children enrolled in Anganbadi, struggle to meet their daily food requirements due to economic hardships. The project provides essential ration supplies to these families, helping alleviate hunger and ensure access to basic sustenance.
